DEFENDING INDIAN FRONTIER
More Troops Sent To North-west Areas
(Received February 11, 9.50 p.m.) DELHI, February 11. The Government is reinforcing the regular troops and civil armed defences on the North-west Frontier districts of Bannu and Kohat, constructing temporary posts in the hilly country. The Shabikel, which has been the only remaining tribe on the frontier hostile to the Government, has made peace and furnished cash securities.
