Dominion Special Service. PAHIATUA, January 31. A yarding of 2500 sheep was offered to a large attendance of buyers by the Associated Auctioneers 'at the sale conducted in Pahiatua this week. Topquality b.f. lambs and store wethers held at late local market rates, though medium and small lambs depreciated in value. Prices are: —Black face lambs, extra good, including fat lambs, 18/7 to 18/-, medium, 17/- to 14/-, medium to small, 12/- to 10/-; w.f.w lambs, good, 13/- to 12/-, medium, 10/- to 8/6, smaller, 6/6 to 5/-; wether lambs, shorn, 15/- to I_2/-, medium. 11/- to 9/3, small. 7/- to 5/-; ewe lambs, shorn, good, 18/2 to 16/6, medium. 13/3 to 11/-, small. 7/G to G/6: two-tooth wethers, stores, 16/9 to 15/6; fat wethers. 19/- to 17/-.
