A message from Ankara says that, coinciding with the arrival in Istanbul of General Weygand, Commander of the Allied Forces in the Near East, the Turkish Press stales.the opinion that the Danuhian and Balkans States will fight Germany and Russia at the first sign of aggression against a republc of South-Eastern Europe. Commenting on the report that Germany has sent troops to the Rumanian frontier, the Press declares that this is an ominous sign and that Germany is preparing to attack as soon as spring comes.
