Yesterday’s Reports Wellington.— Overcast but fine, with a light south-easterly breeze. The minimum temperature on Tuesday night was 46.2 deg. and the maximum yesterday was 61,4 deg. The •barometer reading at 4 p.m. wks 1022.6 millibars. Napier and Hastings.— Fine but hazy, with a light west wind. Waipukurau.— Dull and overcast, with much lower temperatures, the maximum being 70deg. The barometer rose two points, the reading at 7.30 p.m. being 1024.3 millibars. Christchurch.— The weather was fine and for the most part sunny. The morning was calm and a fresh south-west wind blow in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 64.3 deg. Tho barometer was steady and the reading at 5 p.m. was 1022 millibars. Dunedin.— The sky was overcast and there was a light breeze from the southwest, which changed later to north-east. Conditions were mild, the maximum temperature being 61deg. The barometer was high and the evening reading was 30.20 in. or 1023 millibars.
