IMPORT LICENCES
Addition To British List (British Official Wireless.) (Received December 14, 7.5 p.m.) RUGBY, December 13. At the request of the Ministry of Supply the Board of Trade issued an order which will come into force on Monday next adding to the list of goods which require a licence for import of iron and manganese ores, the principal forms of iron, steel and other materials used in the manufacture of iron and steel.
The intention of the order is to facilitate the purchase and transport of all necessary supplies of these materials. Any goods covered by the order which have been dispatched to the United Kingdom before the order comes into force will not require a licence.
