WANGANUI, September 27

Twenty-one new members joined the Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club at last, night's annual meeting. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. A. J. Weeks ; president, Mr. A. C. Bourgeois; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Coe. J. Gosx, R. R. Dawson, E. A. Brown and W. Dratlin; club captain, Mr. W. Bidwell ; secretary, Mr. J. D. Morgan ; treasurer. Mr. I. Brown; auditor, Mr. A. J. Sutcliff; committee, Messrs. K. V. Broughton. A. Adlum, J? Wilkie. L. Stephenson, W. 11. Fitchett and J. Wilson; starter and handicapper. Mr. G. Benson; assistant starter and handicapper, Mr. L. Garrick; cycling handicapper, Mr. B. Hanson.

The retiring secretary. Mr. W. F.I. Fitchett, was given a vole of thanks- for his services.
