MANY DANCERS PRESENT

Annual Staff Gathering The annual staff dance for Whitehead and Pears Limited, which was held at the Mayfair Cabaret this week, again proved its popularity by the large number of dancers who attended. The ballroom was decorated for the occasion with cartoons of well-known songs, and novelty dances helped to make a very bright atmosphere even more cheerful. During the evening an exhibition dance was given by Miss D. Stepleski. The official party included Mr. and Mrs. J. Pears, fuchsia georgette and velvet coat; Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Kain, Misses S. Williams, A. Beere, S. Fraser, M. Robertson, Messrs. F. C. Pears, T. Ennis, B. Fitzgerald, G. Williams, N. Instone. The committee responsible for the dance was Miss E. Young, Miss K. Cain and Mr. T.
