DUNEDIN WRESTLING

Cox and Kirchmeyer Draw

By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 31

A wrestling bout tonight between “King Kong” Cox (17.0) and Rollend Kirchmeyer (117.10), ended in a draw, Kirchmeyer taking a submission fall in the third round with a python clutch, and Cox equalizing in the seventh with an armbar and body press following a series of elbow jolts. Cox, as usual, indulged in a good deal of showmanship, but ' also wrestled well and exploited a wide variety of holds. The contest was fairly quiet up to the fourth round, but afterward livened ■up, and in the final stages was wild, with all-in tactics predominating.
