PERSONAL

Mrs. M. Higgins, Miss M. Higgins and Miss J. Higgins returned to New Zealand by the Rangitiki, which arrived at Wellington yesterday. Mrs. J. B. Mac Ewan was a passenger from England by the Rangitiki which arrived at Wellington yesterday. Miss JI. Holmes arrived at Wellington by the Rangitiki yesterday. She will go to Masterton to reside with her sister, Mrs. R. Smith, Crayne Street. Professor A. Strong, Dunedin, arrived at Wellington yesterday from the south.

Mrs. J. Watts, Otane, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Graham Forbes, with her small daughter, left Wellington by the Awatea on Saturday for Sydney, where she will spend the winter months.

Mrs. E. M. Marshall, Hastings, is visiting Wellington and Feildlng. Miss Vivienne Bunny, Masterton, left on Tuesday in the Rimutaka from Lyttelton on a trip to England. Mrs. F. J. Hull and Mrs. A. E. O’Meara, Hastings, will leave Wellington by the Maunganui on Tuesday for a month’s cruise of the islands. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Haldane, Hastings, have been on a brief visit to Wellington, will return to Hawke'S Bay today..

Mrs. H. N. Knowles, Inglewood, has returned after a three weeks’ holiday visit to Wellington.

Miss Netta Pitkowsky, who has been absent from Wellington for four years and a half, during which time she visited Palestine, England, the Continent, and America, has returned to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Graham Robertson, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Meares, Fendalton, Christchurch, have returned to Wellington. Mrs. B. McKinley, Wellington, who has been visiting her sister in Auckland, has returned home. Miss Marjorie Curlett, Hastings, is visiting Wellington, and is at the Midland Hotel. (
