GOODWILL VISIT

Pupils Of Otago Boys’ High School A party of 34 pupils of Otago Boys’ High School, accompanied by three masters, will arrive at Wellington on Saturday on a goodwill visit with the object of making contact with Wellington College. The masters who will be accompanying the boys are Messrs. Gillmann, Bolting and Spackmau. At 10.30 on Saturday morning the boys will visit Parliament House, and in the afternoon they will be the guests of the Wellington Rugby Union at Athletic Park. In the evening there will be a cinema entertainment for them in the Wellington College gymnasium. On Sunday there will be a combined church service at St. Mark’s Church at 11 a.m., and at 2 p.m. the visitors will be taken on a drive around the bays, starting from the Town Hall at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m. they will attend afternoon tea at Wellington College. On the Monday the Otago boys will be present at morning assembly at Wellington College. At 10.45 a.m. the visitors’ second fifteen will meet the Firth House boarders of Wellington College in a Rugby match, and at midday the Otago party will be the guests of the Wellington branch of the Otago High School Old Boys’ Association at luncheon. At 2.15 p.m. the visitors’ first fifteen will meet the Wellington College first fifteen. Afternoon tea will be served at the college, and the visitors will leave that night on their return to Dunedin.
