CHRYSANTHEMUM AND DAHLIA SHOW

The Hutt Valley Hortiuuiturul Society’s chrysanthemum and dahlia show will be held in Ihe Horticultural Hall tomorrow. The show will be officially opened at 3 p.m. by Lady Batterbee, wife of the High Comniiß-sioner for Great Britain in New Zealand. Blooms will come from Hawke's Bay, Feilding and Palmerston North districts, and a fine stand of begonias will be on view. The Cooper Gold Memorial Medal will be competed for at this show. The final of the Chapman Memorial competition will also be decided; the award is a crystal decanter and goblets. Entries' will close today at 5 p.m.
