Ihe rear of the stands) would be taken into the park. This road was on park property. The new road would begin on the Eastbourne side of the bridge, a short distance up tiie eonercte stretch of road, and run alongside the Waiwhetu Stream to a point past the old bridge near the motor-camp section of the park. This latter bridge would be eliminated. The high iron fence at the rear of the park would be taken down and a fine concrete one erected on the new boundary. In all 14,000 yards of filling would be used on the area which was to be included in the park.
