(Received January 27, 9.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 27. The Milwaukee correspondent of the United Press says that Doctor William Doern, physician at the local Mercy Hospital, announced to the hospital staff the discovery of micro-organism which “is the probable cause of cancer.” The discovery is the culmination of research begun in 1932. Tlie micro-organism has n special affinity to sex ■ ells both in animals and plants and, with cultures of this microorganism, malignant tumours in more than 100 animals were produced.
