4 W. B. Reilly’s Score At Shandon Last Sunday, W. B. Reilly, runner-up for the New Zealand amateur championship to Pax Smith in Dunedin last year, covered the Shandon course in 69. Hovvever, it now transpires that Reilly's score was 68. Mr. I‘. J. Bourke, captain of the Shandon c!,ub. stated yesterday that lie could vouch for this score. Reilly went out in 33. and returned in 35. He had an eagle at the fifteenth, ami birdies at the second, fifth, and sixth. His card reads: —Out: 534334303—33. In: 403443654 —35. Total, 68. Reilly will’ play with the Hutt Golt Club this year, and H. H. McL. Elliott, champion of the Shandon club, has also decided to play with Hutt. This should strengthen greatly the Hutt team for the interclub matches with Wellington and Miramar. Members of the Shandon Golf Llub are advised that the fifth round of the Shandon Summer Cup competition must be completed this weekend.
