“We will never forget the action of the Mnnukau skipper, J. Taylor, who went-to the rescue of two overturned boats on Thursday,” said Mr. J. J. McKay, chairman of the Cornwell Cup conference, when presenting the trophies al Ihe conclusion of the contest yesterday. • The boats were capsized by an act of (tod and (he quick thinking Mantikan skipper realized the position the boys wm'e in and rescued them, he said. Everyone was very proud of Taylor.
Mr. G. 11. Tanner, the Wellington delegate, also commented on Taylor’s action.
