MILLION-DOLL AR OFFER REFUSED

Mr. Samuel Riddle, owner of the famous racehorse Man o’ War, has announced that he refused an offer or 1.000,000 dollars for the racehorse from Mr. Louis B. Mayer, cinema producer. The announcement caused surprise, since Man o’ ’War" is 22, and his stud value has been reduced. Mr. Mayer, who has. recently undertaken thoroughbred racing, declined to comment.
