When he took a party of Boy Scouts on a climb of Mount Ruapehu during the New Year holidays, Mr. T. A. Blyth. Ohnkune, was on his 139th trip up the mountain. He holds a record in the number of times he has made lhe ascent, and can look back on conditions far less inviting than they are today.
