The “Daily Telegraph” .says that there is at present no indication of the reception given to the suggestions put forward by Dr. Schacht, president of the Reichsbank, who is now in England, for solving the refugee prob.cm and furthering Anglo-German trade. It is known, however, that they were urged on British financial authorities, with a warning that acceptance of a plan for the salvage of Germany economically from the chaos of Nazi administration is the sole alternative to graver developments.
