Quilt From Mr. Chamberlain’s “Peace” Shirt

LONDON, November 30. rpilE making of patch work quilts has been a favourite occupation with women for generations past, and there can be scarcely any kind of dress or furnishing material, scraps of which have not been used for this purpose at one time or another. But the patchwork quilt of Prime Ministers’ shirts is surelv something new. Speaking at an exhibition of 'homecraft iu London the other day. Mrs. Chamberlain told us that a certain women’s institute wanted to make such a quilt. They had asked her to help them with a contribution of Mr. Chamberlain’s shirt—the one he wore at Munich.
