RESIGNATION FROM U.S. CABINET

NEW YORK, December 15.
The resignation of Mr. Daniel C. Roper, Secretary of Commerce, is announced today, the reason being that he desires to give attention to his personal affairs. President. Roosevelt, in a letter, praised Mr. Roper’s work.
