The Sydney share market today was generally steady with a moderate turnover. Sales included : — ' £ s. d.
Morning sales included: Commonwealth bonds,.4 per cent. (1041), £lOO 17/6; 4 per cent. (1950), £lO2/8/9; 4 per cent. (1953), £lO2/12/6; 4 per cent. (1955), £lOl/1/3 ; Tooheys, 30/6 ; Tooths, 53/6; Cash Orders, 16/-; Colonial Sugar, £46; Dunlop Perdriau, 20/4 i; General Industries, 18/101.
MELBOURNE, December 16.
On the Stock Exchange of Melbourne today bonds were steadier. Investments were firm, but the turnover -was restricted. There was a good demand for Mount Morgans. Sales included :— £ s. d.
