Changes In Headmasters
When the Wellington primary schools resume after the midsummer holidays, several headmasters will have changed schools.
The Wellington Education Board announced the following changes yesterday :—
Mr. O. J. Howarth, Island Bay, is to become headmaster of tlie Taumarnuui District High School. Mr. W. S. Dempsey, Mount Cook, is to become headmaster of the Newton West School, Auckland. Mr. I. B. Hubbard, Wadestown, has been appointed headmaster of the Newtown School, in succession to Mr. W. Hickson, who has retired and will live in Auckland.
Mr. E. C. Feltham, Roseneath, has been appointed headmaster of the Wadestown School.
Mr. A. J. Trevena, Northland, has been appointed headmaster of the Roseneath School.
Mr. AV. 11. Olson. Worsen Bay, has been appointed headmaster of the Waterloo School. Lower Hutt.
The appointments will all become effective as from February 1. Other appointments to fill the vacancies created in some cases have not yet been made.
