Without Equal Among Three-Year-Olds

DEFAULTER COMPARED WITH NUFFIELD

According to Australian critics, no Derby colt in Australia in the past two seasons has been the equal of Defaulter in height and substance. He appears to be something like his paternal grandsire, the unbeaten Hurry On, also a big horse. ■Alongside the New Zealand three-year-old champion, the Australian three-year-old elianupiou, Nuffield, .would look a pony.
