Dominion Special Service. NAPIER, September 9. The Hawke's Bay amateur golf championship was continued on the Waiohiki links to-day. The weather earlier in the morning was line, but toward noon a heavy shower fell. Conditions improved in the afternoon, however. and play proceeded without interruption. The feature of to-day's play was the round of 11. D. Brinsden, who completed the first nine holes in his match with D. 11. Sutherland with the remarkable score of 32. par being 37. H. J. I.ongstalT had a comfortable win from It. de R. Worker, and he and Brinsden will meet in the tinal to-mor-row over 36 holes.
