COPPER TRAIL

Aid For Spanish Refugee Children's Fund The copper trail for the Spanish Refugee Children’s Appeal fund, which was to have (been held last Thursday, will now be held on Thursday, September 22, from 12 to 2. The committee is ambitious enough to expect a' trail to extend from Panama Street to Bunny Street on both sides of Larnbtori Quay, Wellington, and to this end has gathered many willing assistants, who are to meet at the D.I.C. at 11.30. The trail has the approval of the mayor, Wellington patron for the fund, and the city council. Arrangements are well in band for the tea dance, on September 20, which promises to be very popular. A limited number of tickets is still available from members of the committee or the D.I.C.
