Franco Believed To Be Planning Offensive
London, August 18.
The Hendaye correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph” says significance Is attached to the insurgents’ sealing their Franco-Spanish frontier. It is believed that General Franco is planning a big offensive and is also anxious to prevent the escape of Monarchists who hope to reach England and discuss restoration of the Monarchy. Fifteen rebel deserters, after a hazardous crossing of the frontier, report seditious movements at Burgos and Santander.
