The Rata Co-operative Dairy Company. Ltd., has concluded its year with a surplus, of £26,874, out of which a deferred payment of 3 l-Bd. a lb. butterfat is to be made to suppliers. This payment will bring the season’s payout to almost 1/3 a lb.
The company has experienced a record trading year, the turnover amounting to £36.781, which has produced a profit of £5485.
