NAZI ANTI-CATHOLIC MOVE
Austrian Parish Schools
Vienna, August 8. A new Nazi move against the Roman Catholic Church aims at the gradual extinction of Catholic parish schools throughout Austria through the placing of restrictions upon the admission of new pupils, the reduction of classes, and control of examinations by officials from the Slate schools. Catholic kindergartens are already conducted by lay supervisors instead Ot by nuns, and Nazi nurses have replaced nuns in Vienna hospitals. Surplus nuns are being sent to South America.
