Australian Minister

London, July 19.

The Australian Minister of Industries, Mr. R. G. Menzies, will visit Germany next week. < He has had consultations with the German Ambassador, Dr. von Dirksen, as a result of which he hopes to meet Herr Hitler, Field-Marshal Goering, Dr. Goebbels, Dr. Schacht, Herr von Neurath, and Herr von Ribbentrop, and he will explore the possibilities of a trade agreement. He is also interested in the international situation, and expects to play a larger part in foreign affairs when he returns to Australia.
