Manawatu Hunt Club
Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, July 7. Advice has been received by the Alanawatu Hunt Club that its application for a special permit to conduct a meeting has been granted, the date fixed being July 30. . . The object of the meeting is to raise funds for the importation of an Irish hunter as a step toward helping the Governnicnt’s 6'cheine for roaring better remounts in the Dominion. The Manawatu Racing Club will pe assisting the hunt club by lending its Awapuni racecourse for the meeting. A programme is to be drawn up by the committee as soon as possible.
