Londoners Coming To New Zealand Id 10-Ton Kelch "Domlulun” Special Service—By Airmail. London, May 7. A young honeymoon couple, Mr. and Mrs." Richard Stanley, of London, are planning to sail to New Zealand in a 16-ton ketch. With them on the trip, which they expect will last 12 months, will be Mr, Pritchard McGregor, of Betts Woods. Kent. All three are under 30. In New Zealand Mr. Stanley hopes to make a home—he litis given up his present job in a London office to try his hand at sheepfarming, and his pretty brown-haired wife Is just as enthusiastic about the project as he Is. She is taking one little book on her honeymoon adventure —a cookery book. “The happiness of three people for the whole voyage wil. depend on the sort of meals I cook.” the bride said this week. "I’m spending all my spare time ‘swotting’ an infinite variety of recipes, "I think my job’s likely to be nearly as important as navigation, especially as we shall take a year to reach New Zealand. 'All three of us have sunk our savings in this venture.” Mr. Stanley, who will act as skipper and navigator, said: “We feel there are more chances for young people in the Dominions, and we hope to make our mark out there.'
Mr. McGregor is just going for the trip. “When I reae.) New Zealand and have had a look around.” he said, "I hope to be able to work my way back to London.”
After negotiating the Panama Canal, Lady Diana, their "ship,’’ will sail direct for New Zealand, with a possible stop at Pitcairn Island, or a short stay at one of the Society Islands, perhaps Tahiti.
