The election tor the Alasterton Trust Lands Trust is to be held to-morrow, when all residents of the Masterton bmall Farm area over 21 years of age who have resided at lease six months in the area are entitled to vote. The reason it is called the Small Farm Area is that in, 1854 Alasterton was cut up into 12Li town acres and 103 small farms of approx* imntely 40 acres each. Although the area is difficult to define, every resident of the borough is entitled to vote, and in addition residents living in the Upper Plain Road as far as Evan's Road (near the Fernridge School), the southern end of Kibblewhite Road, ami the northern side of West Bush Road, the Opaki Road, to Air. Burgess’s house, and residents on the Te Oro Ore Road on the town side of the Ruamahuuga bridge. The candidates are Alessrs. J. MacFarlane Laing, L. J. Taylor, H. H. Daniell, and J. H. Handyside. The polling places are: Municipal Hall. Air. Valier's residence, 85 Bentley Street, the Epiphany Schoolroom. Short Street; Mr. F. G. Fellingham’s shop. First Street, Lansdowne; ami Air. E, AVoodley’s dwelling, Upper Plain.
