Trojan Star And Waitangi COASTAL? SHIP SINKS (Received March 25, 5.30 p.m.) 'London, March 25. The Blue Star liner Trojan Star came into collision with the German training ship Albert Leo Schlegeter in fog in the English Channel, both being damaged. The Trojan Star’s damage includes a lost anchor, a broken foretopmast and derrick. She is proceeding to Gravesend. The liner Waitangi, en route to Brisbane, came into collision in the Channel with the coastal vessel Peter Hawksfield. The latter sank, all on board being saved.
