VICE-CHANCELLOR

Melbourne University (Received March 91, H-30 p.m.) Melbourne, March 21. The University Council to-day appointed Mr. J. T. G. Medley, headihaster of Tudor House School, New South Wales, as Vice-Chancellor, in place of Dr. R. E. Priestley, who has resigned. Mr. Medley was appointed by a majority of one vote over Professor D. B. Copland, dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Melbourne. Professor Copland is a former New Zealander. Mr. Medley, a Fellow of Corpus Christi College, was appointed headmaster of.l'udor.Houso
