ST. PATRICK’S DAY

Concert In Town Hall On Thursday, St. Patrick’s Day. the usual national concert will bo held at the Town Hall. An excellent programme has been arranged and a feature of the concert will be the massed choir of 500 voices by the boys of the combined Marist Brothers' schools, Tasman Street, Thorndon, and Miramar. Among those contributing to the programme' will be Mr. Harison Cook, Mr. J. Owen Bonifnnt, and Mr. Clem Howe, Misses Mollie Diederich (Palmerston North), and Molly Atkinson. Dancing items will be contributed by Misses Peggy McKinnon, Pemry Tovey, Edna Whitaker, Nancy McDonald. and Donald Young. Mr. Maxwell Fernie will act as accompanist. St. Patrick’s Day concert hns earned a reputation for a high standard of performance, and every effort has been made by the committee to maintain this reputation.
