JjOVERS of revue-cum-vaudeville will welcome the announcement by J. C. Williamson, Ltd., that a revue company headed by Ella Shields and Jim Gerald is coming to New Zealand shortly. The company is due to open in Auckland on March 7. Miss Shields.
is no stranger to New Zealand audiences, and although Mr. Gerald has not been in the Dominion for some time, he also is well known as a comedian, As a male impersonator Miss Ella Shields has no compeer: her natty, im ; maculate person has graced the revue staged on many occasions. Mr. Gerald has a clean-cut brand of humour that appeals to lovers of revue. The supporting company will include notable artists from all parts of the world.
