FEILDING SHOW
Official Opening By Hon. Adam Hamilton WEATHER REMAINS FINE Dominion Special Service. Feilding. February 2. Again favoured with ideal weather, the Feilding Industrial, Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s thirty-fourth annual show was continued to-day, when the official opening ceremony was performed by the Leader of the Opposition. Hon. Adam Hamilton. Throughout the day and evening the grounds at the racecourse, where the show is being held, was thronged with farmers and townspeople from the surrounding districts. . _ The horse and the Boys’ and Girls Calf Club classes, which were not judged yesterday, were decided this morning" and in the afternoon there was an extensive programme of ring events and the grand parade. In the evening a concert was held at the showgrounds, the attendance being excellent, as was the entertainment provided. Although no gate figures are yet available, it is anticipated that the attendances for the two days and nights of the show will compare favourably with those for previous years.
