R.S.A. WOMEN’S CLUB
The first meeting of the year of the Returned Soldiers’ zVssociation Women’s Club was held in the rooms, High Street, Lower Hutt, yesterday afternoon. In the absence of the secretary, Mrs. A. Milne, Mrs. Ray Brown presided. Mrs. F. Stedman, accompanied by Mrs. Vinsen, sang. Following afternoon tea, Mrs. Quin gave a demonstration of barbola work. Mrs. Brown thanked Mrs. Quin and presented her with a novelty bouquet. Mrs. Stedman was also presented with a bouquet. Those present were Mesdames C. V. Britteil (secretary), T. Parkin, Mustard, Unsworth, Wilton, Vinsen, Evans, Hamilton, Woolley, Robins, Garrett, Potter, sen., Gandy, and Parry.
