Dogs attacked sheep owned by the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club grazing on the racecourse at Hastings. One was killed and several so badly injured that they had to be destroyed. The caretaker is laying poison, and a watch is being kept, as it is expected the dogs will return. The Wellington Harbour Board fit its meeting last night agreed to contribute £5OO annually toward the maintenance of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum.
