Annual Outing Held At Day’s Bay RESULTS OF EVENTS The annual picnic of the General Post Office staff was held at Day’s Bay (Williams Park) on Wednesday, in beautiful weather. Some 500 officers of the General Post Office, with their wives and families, spent a most enjoyable day. The Eastbourne Ferry Company’s Muritai carried a large number and many used private conveyances. The I’ostmasterGeneral, Hon. F. Jones, and Mrs. Jones were present, and both participated in the presentation of the prizes. Later, the Minister and several of the divisional heads of the General Post Office were entertained by the committee nt afternoon tea.
