Canterbury Sanders Cup Boat Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, December 20. The yacht Manila, which won the fifth and sixth races in the cup trials, will represent Canterbury in the Sanders Cup contest at Dunedin in January. The selection was made to-night at'a meeting of the Sanders Cup committee of the Canterbury yacht ami Power Boat Association, which ( decided that the cost of refitting the'Eltiu would be too great. It was reported that the Huia’s owner had declined to place the boat unreservedly in the association’s hands. The committee decided to hold three further trial races on January S and 9 to decide whether W. Tlssiman or G. Brassell will be the Canterbury skipper.
