FINANCIAL BASIS OF ART GALLERY
Meeting Of Local Bodies
There has been so far no vote or grant for the management of the National Art Gallery; the museum is a Government but the National Art Gallery is in a different category. With a view to arranging some basis of financial procedure for the future, the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, as chairman of trustees, lias invited representatives of local bodies to attend a meeting to be lield in the art gallery at. 10.30 a.m. to J day, when the work of the art gallery and museum will lie explained and the financial position discussed.
