INDIGNATION MEETING

Wellington Ratepayers

An indignation meeting of ratepayers of Wellington is to be held at the meeting hall of the Chamber of Commerce, “The Dominion” Building, Mercer Street, at 8 o’clock to-night, to condemn the proposals of the Wellington Hospital Board to spend a further £750,000 upon the existing Wellington hospital. The principal speakers will be Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, mayor of Wellington, Mr. J. W. Andrews, mayor of Lower Hutt, and Mr. E. Windley, chairman of the Makara County Council. Resolutions embodying constructive criticism will be submitted to the meeting. The Wellington "Ratepayers’ Association invites all ratepayers to attend.
