R. G. Holland Makes 170 RESULTS IN ALL GRADES The Hutt Valley inter-club cricket competitions were continued on Saturday under excellent conditions. Wickets were fast and true, and some outstanding batting performances were recorded. Heading the list with 170, R. G. Holland, late of the Petone Club, played an attractive innings, his total including seven “sixes’’ and 22 fours. With H. R. Pollock as a partner those two fast scoring batsmen, swelled Gear United’s big score. Bell Park suffered their first defeat, and Meadows narrowly missed maximum points from Empire.
