AMATEUR ATHLETICS
Olympic Club Competition Members of the Olympic Amateur Athletic Club are now training in earnest and gratifying keenness is being shown by new members. The weekly handicap competition was begun last week and resulted as follows:—7s yards: D. Sunderland 1, H. Service 2, T. Hill 3. Shot putt: A. Badland 1, H. Service and L. Bade, equal 2. This week’s events are the half-mile and diseue throw, and members are asked to ensure a punctual start.
