The Auckland Hongi Club's Wellington Reunion

Under the auspices of the Auckland University College Hongi Club an'd organised by a past-president, Air. Bruce Orchiston, a reunion of ex-members aud their friends was held at the Crow’s Nest at the week-end. Alore than SO were present, all of whom made the most of so pleasant an occasion and took the opportunity between dances to indulge in all sorts of reminiscences. Air. Orchiston pointed out the significance of the Hongi Club at Aueklan'd, and intimated that something of a similar nature would presently be formed in AVellington. He also expressed thanks to all for their support of this, their first, reunion at Wellington.

Among those present were: Misses Paddy Gillespie, Adelaide Gill, Joan Glendinning, Eileen Fortune, Tassie Steele, Claire Phillips, K. Tod'd, Vivienne Collie, Joy Alartin, Ngaire Aplin, Suzanne Bothamley, Helen Millar, Helen Birks, Joan Natusch, Joan Alayfeild, Peggy Hyams, Jeannie Climie, Ann Gow, Etna Poussin, Venie Colman, Grace Kniveton, Margery Davis, Yvonne Denton, Peggy Reed, A. Higgs, Jean Cooke, Alessrs. John King, R. Mander, H. Dowrich, Farmer Barker, H. AlcVeagh, Gould Cooke, Alurray Taylor, Gordon Smith, Bill Struthers, Morrie Cooke, Lin Craig, Bryan Hill, Jim Holderness, AV. Mehaney, Bruce Orchiston, Arthur 8011, Kingi Tahiwi, Ted Lowe, Clive Steele, Allan Sutherland, Bill Coombs, Bob Collins, Bill Chick, Tom Kirk, Pat Noakes, Eric AlcGee, Ron Twohill. To Say "Au Revoir" Airs. L. H. Cj Smith, Hawker Street, who is leaving AVellington to reside at New Plymouth, gave a delightful “au revoir,” party for some of her friends on Friday at the “Alockador.” After tea had been served, Airs. Houston gave a short talk on her recent travels through Europe. Airs. Smith was wearing a smart tailleur aud breton sailor hat in tones of brown. Among those present were: Airs. E. Casey, Airs. Uren, Airs. L. F. Hunt, Airs. John Southward, Airs. Hogarth Gill, Mrs. Aston, Mrs. P. C. Watt, Mrs. Hulbert, Airs. E. Best, Airs. Al. Houston.
