ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

Final Meeting Of Year Three officers and 30 members were present at the last meeting for the year of the Wellington St. John Ambulance Division, held at divisional headquarters recently. An instructive lecture on sanitation was given during the evening by Corps. Officer C. Kidman. A jy-oposal to hold a social evening in December was put before the meetinc by Superintendent S. Whitely (Wellington East Division), and Ambulance Officer Breach (Wellington Railway Division). Sgt. Badley and Private R. Gennings were appointed to represent th© Wellington Central Division on the organising committee set up. Divisional Superintendent S. C. Smith expressed his tiianks for the co-operation he had received during the year. A “casualty night” is to be held at headquarters on Tuesday, November 16, at which the chief commissioner for New Zealand, Colonel G. Barclay, 0.8. E., K.St.J., V.D., will be present. Public dutigs are to be carried on as usual during the recess.
