SHIPPING COSTS RISING RAPIDLY

Mr. C. M. Turrell, Wellington, arrived by the Strathmore. He said that England appeared much more prosperous, but from the point of view of shirtping things were a little hard, because costs were rising rapidly. Mr. Turrell will return to New Zealand on November 10.
