CHILD DROWNED IN CREEK

„y iciegrnph—Press Association. ' Christchurch, November 3. A child aged one year and eight months, James Kenneth Dodge, son of Mr. J. R. Dodge, Ohapuku, near Kaiapol, was accidentally drowned in a creek on his father’s farm to-day. The child was following his father, who was attending to cattle. He fell into the creek, which was covered with grass, and was not found till about a quarter of an hour after his disappearance was noted.
