Results of the judging at the British Dairy Danners’ Show at Islington in the Empire competitions, include: Butter, salted (44 entries), Manning River (New South Wales), 9S points, 1. Unsalted (40 entries), Downs Cooperative, Toowoomba, 98 points, 1. Cheese: Goodwood, 1; Lochiel, 2; Brydone, 3. Thornbury reserve, Pahia, Wright’s Bush, Aparima, and Pakerau highly commended; Titiroa and Fairfax commended. All the above are Otago factories.
